Application of Radioactive Isotope ⁶⁰Co in Panoramic Exposure of Large and Thick-Walled Spherical Tank

Aiming at three sets of spherical tanks with a size of  19 200 mm×62 mm and volume of 3 700 m3, a the reasonable inspection program was established on the basis of selecting suitable radioactive isotope and intensity, and the film type. The quality of radiograph was proved to be in accordance with ASME standard in practice and construction schedule, safety prevention and protection also achieved anticipated target.
