    Finite Element Simulation of Eddy Current Inspection Signal for Steam Generator Heat Exchange Tubes in Nuclear Power Plant

    • In order to investigate the relationship between defects and eddy current impedance signals of the steam generator heat exchange tubes, a finite element analyzer was developed by using ANSYS as a supporting platform. The finite element preprocessor, the eddy current calculation, the post processor and the visualization processor were integrated together. Good graphic user interface was offered. The simulation results were compared with measurement and good agreements were found.
