Eddy Current Testing for Near-Surface Crack of Some In-use Part

    • Based on the parameters of crack depth, probe type, inspection frequency and phase, the reference block is made and low frequency eddy current testing is used to inspect and monitor the in-use part which easily has cracks due to the stress concentration. Through repeatedly testing for various parameters, the best working frequency is selected. The actual inspection proves the feasibility of this method.
