    The Influence of Projection Number on Reconstruction Quality of Algebraic Reconstruction Technique

    • The algebraic reconstruction technique(ART) was proposed to reconstructing image from incomplete projection data. The influence of projection number on the solution of reconstruction linear equations was analyzed, then, the influence of number of projection views and rays on reconstruction quality were studied by simulation experiments. The result showed that increasing the number of rays for every projection view can improve the reconstruction quality effectively and choosing suit number of projection views can get better image if the number of rays remains unchanged.
