Application of Ground Penetrating Radar in Box-Girders Web Plate Detecting

Detecting and quality evaluation of box-girders web plate using GPR(Ground Penetrating Radar) is introduced, and the work principle of GPR is well illuminated firstly. The test results showed that concrete quality defects could be reflected directly by waveform characteristics of GPR, and the concrete cover and the distribution of corrugated tube in box-girders web plate could be estimated precisely.
