Ultrasonic TOFD Detection Method of T-type Welding Joint

With respect to the T-shaped welded joint whose alar plates are no limitation of structure conditions, corresponding TOFD detection technology was established. Simulated test blocks containing artificial defects were made. According to the established inspection technology, the simulated blocks were inspected. The results show that the artificial defects can be detected effectively. TOFD detection technology used on the kind of T-shaped Welded Joint can obviously improve work efficiency
