    Ultrasonic Surface Wave Testing for the Airspeed Heads of an Aircraft

    • Considering the shape and the crack characteristics of the airspeed heads, especially the influence of the crack in special parts to the ultrasonic transmitting, a new methord of ultrasonic surface wave in-situ detection technology was put forward. Special surface wave probe was designed according to characteristics of airspeed heads. The problem of the airspeed heads in-situ detection was well done and the reliability of flight safety was enhanced. It is proved that the testing effect is satisfactory.
