Metal Magnetic Memory Diagnostic Applications in Petroleum Casing Detection

The oil casing pipes of both new and old casing ones were tested, and the magnetic field strength crossing zero and its rate of change were used to determine the oil casing stress concentration. Test results showed that magnetic memory testing technology could help inspection personnel to prevent defects caused by oil casing stress concentration and thus reduce the occurrence of the accident.
