Thread Inspection of Tubing and Casing

According to the configuration and failure characters of tubing and casing thread area, several thread inspection methods, experimental equipment and result based on the MFL(Magnetic Flux Leakage) are introduced and analyzed, including the remote magnetic field inspection, opening magnetic field inspection with or without floating probe. Finally, a kind of convenient and feasible tubing and casing thread inspection method is put forward.
