Measurement of the Liquid Temperature in Metal Tube by Absolute Non-Contact Eddy Current Sensor

    • This article is to examine the possibility of temperature measurement of liquid metal tube through use of absolute eddy current sensor devices. Based on time two-parameter(relative permeability and resistivity) of cylindrical conductor, and also based on the formula of Ohm law and the cylinder form conductor magnetic field permeates, a mathematic model was established on the relationship between liquid temperature and resistivity, phase angle and other parameters. An absolutely eddy current sensor was designed based on this theory. Experiments showed the feasibility of the theory.
