Design of Probe for InSitu Detection of Special Structure Rivet

By the analysis for insitu detection of special structure rivet on enginecasket, eddycurrent technique based on the practicality of detection was put forward for insitu detection of the rivet. Subsequently the eddycurrent probe based on the configuration of the rivet was designed, and the test was accomplished by the contrast sample which included the artificial notch having specific size. The test showed that the designed probe had better sensitivity and signal to noise ratio, and it could satisfy eddycurrent insitu detection to the crack of the rivet.
