Nondestructive Testing of Amusement Ride

As one of the eight kinds of special equipment, amusement ride possesses various types and configurations. The nondestructive testing(NDT) methods and requirement during fabrication, installation and inspection were reviewed for various amusement devices in different aspects such as components and parts, metal frameworks, complete machine and so on. The NDT methods included visual testing(VT), radiographic testing(RT), ultrasonic testing(UT), magnetic particle testing(MT), penetrate testing(PT), eddy current testing(ET), leakage magnetic field testing and metal magnetic memory testing(MMMT). Their characteristics were introduced respectively, for each method.
