Application of New Nondestructive Testing Techniques in Aviation Industry

In recent years, with the rising demand of NDT in aviation industry, the growing application study of new NDT techniques such as laser shearography testing, laser ultrasonic testing, infrared thermography testing, structural health monitoring was developed in aviation industry. This paper introduce briefly the present situation and the development trends of new NDT techniques in aviation industry based on the expounding of their principles and characteristics.
