    The Depression of the Noise in AE Detected with Fiber-Optic Fabry-Perot Sensors Based on Wavelet Analysis

    • The AE signal detected with fiber-optic Fabry-Perot sensors contained various noise signals. The research to de-noise the fiber-optic Fabry-Perot AE signal by wavelet transformation was carried on, and the optimum wavelet and resolving level were chosen. To de-noise the AE signal, Sym8 wavelet and soft threshold de-noising method were adopted. The fiber-optic Fabry-Perot AE signal was well de-noised with no AE signal information losing. According to the results, through the selection of basic wavelet, resolving level and de-noising threshold, the fiber-optic Fabry-Perot AE signal could be de-noised effectively, and the discernment to the AE signal was greatly improved.
