    Image Procession by Wavelet Transform for Weld Defect Tested by Radiographic Testing

    • The weld image characteristics obtained by radiographic testing were introduced. Then software Matlab was taken as an image processing platform, wavelet transform methods were taken as a tool, three basic analyzing theories, such as continuous wavelet, wavelet packet tree and fast lifting wavelet were applied to process the defect image, and ideal processing results were obtained. At last, the advantages and shortcomings of each method were summarized.
