    Mechanism and Application of DR Inspection Technology in Submerged Arc Welded Pipe Weld

    • This article introduces the working principle of DR inspection technology in submerged arc welded pipe radiographic testing. In this article, the sensitivity of submerged arc welding defect detection, spatial resolution and defect inspection rate and accuracy are tested. The result shows that this technology can meet the requirements of submerged arc welding seam radiographic testing standards. The defect image of DR is clear, with low noise and high sensitivity. The DR inspection technology is a fast, efficient and feasible method for submerged arc welded steel pipe weld radiographic testing.
