Brief Analysis and Repair Methods of the Pipe Connection Seat Fillet Weld Defect

The pipe connection seat fillet welds defect of superheater outlet collector existing seriously affected the normal safety operation. The paper used PT method and found that the welding crack of the pipe connection seat was caused by the expansion from root incomplete fusion to surface. Root incomplete fusion was due to aligning small gaps of groove before welding and not adoping argon arc welding bottom. This paper presented the detailed repair measures.
