During ultrasonic testing, scanning speed of ultrasonic probe is one of important factors that may cause missing inspection of defects. By analyzing the factors such as alarm response speed of digital ultrasonic flaw detector, probe sound field distribution and ultrasonic impulse repetition frequency, the result that the scanning speed limit is 150.0 mm/s is reasonable.
