The Application of Ultrasonic Guided Wave Testing Technology on the Inspection of Offshore Pipelines

The guided waves technology has been successfully used to screen offshore pipelines. Riser splash zone could be successfully screened from topside position using the Wavemaker technology. Underwater pipelines could be screened using the subsea technology developed by Guided Ultrasonics Limited, which allowed the screening of tens of meters of underwater pipelines from a single location.
