Microwave Detecting Technique of Defects on Metal Surface

In order to realize non-contact detection of defects on metal surface, a new method of microwave detection was proposed. The reflection and transmission characteristics of microwaves in different materials and interfaces were investigated through the microwave detection system. The result showed that microwave technology can be used to test engineering components and materials with no contact, providing a theoretical basis for non-destructive testing of engineering safety assessment of components and materials.
