Evaluation and Comparison of Standards for Examination of In-service Ferromagnetic Steel Tubes Using Remote Field Testing
The history and basic principles of remote field eddy current testing(RFT) were briefly introduced. Three Standards for examination of in-service ferromagnetic steel tubes using this technique were evaluated and compared in six aspects. Some suggestions for standardization of RFT were also given.
