Improve the Sensitivity of Liquid Penetrant Testing in Low Temperature

    • Liquid penetrant testing is widely used in weld examination and pressure equipment inspection, but its performance in low temperature is poor. A new technique named temperature-difference is put forward to give a solution, the mechanism of which is to penetrate in high temperature, develop in low temperature and observe in high temperature. The application results showed that the sensitivity was greatly improved.
