Improve the Sensitivity of Liquid Penetrant Testing in Low Temperature

Liquid penetrant testing is widely used in weld examination and pressure equipment inspection, but its performance in low temperature is poor. A new technique named temperature-difference is put forward to give a solution, the mechanism of which is to penetrate in high temperature, develop in low temperature and observe in high temperature. The application results showed that the sensitivity was greatly improved.
