Nondestructive Testing Techniques for Industrial Pipelines

The defects possibly emerged in industrial pipelines and the nondestructive testing(NDT) techniques applied during their fabrication and operation were reviewed, including eddy current testing(ET), radiographic testing(RT), ultrasonic testing(UT), magnetic particle testing(MT), penetrant testing(PT), magnetic flux leakage testing(MFL) and guided wave testing(GT). The characteristics of the techniques were also introduced.
