    In-Situ Inspection of Aircraft Honeycomb Structure by Laser Shearography

    • In view of the inspecting of debond defects of the airplane honeycomb structures,most conventional testing methods were subject to low testing reliability and difficulties in quantifying the defect in the outfield.Laser shearography technology was therefore applied to solve the problem.The influence of loading time on test results was analyzed,and the accurate quantitative results were obtained.It proves that the testing method is proper,the detection efficiency is high,and the testing results are accurate.The technology of laser shearography is therefore suitable for in situ testing of airplane honeycomb structures.
