Corrosion and its Inspection of Process Pipe Lines in Offshore Platform

This article introduced the corrosion mechanism and corrosion prone positions of process pipe lines. Combination of ultrasonic thickness and ultrasonic guided waves methods were utilized to detect the corrosion occurrence, based on the test results, risk analysis and risk control methods could be carried out. The above mentioned measures thus ensured the establishment to operate effectively and safely, and ensured especially the safety of workmen.
