Inspection and Reason Analysis of Welding Cracks of High Strength Steel

The nondestructive testing, anatomy contrast and reason analysis for welding cracks in the ball pot stanchion of NK-HITEN610U2L low alloy and high strength steel were put up. The results showed that there were some relations between the surface welding defects and the internal welding defects, especially in the high stress design position, that should be attentive in the process of inspection and weld.
