The Applications of Nondestructive Testing Techniques in the Walls of the Ancient Town in Pingyao

This paper first briefly presented several newly created non-destructive inspection techniques used in the protection of the walls of the Ancient Town in Pingyao, one of the cultural legacies in the world, and then pointed out that such techniques were useful socially and economically in protecting the ancient architectures. The authors wished that research and exchanges should be made more frequently than ever and more attention should be paid to the applications of these techniques.
