Determination of Sensitivity Compensation for Ultrasonic Inspection of Butt Joint in Small Diameter Tubes of Power Plant Boiler

Aiming at the characteristics of ultrasonic inspection of small diameter tubes in boiler heating surface in thermal power plant, the reason and measuring method of sensitivity compensation for ultrasonic inspection of small tube were elaborated. In order to ensure accuracy of small diameter ultrasonic inspection , sensitivity compensation should be measured actually before ultrasonic inspection.
