    Design of a New Pulsed Eddy Current Sensor for Detection of Corrosion in Pipeline

    • A new self-differential pulsed eddy current testing sensor was designed to avoid low precision and sensitivity of differential sensor. It was designed based on the principle of that the exciting field is transformed into a uniform eddy current field. Testing experiment showed that the new sensor was useful to test corrosion defects on the surface of the steel pipeline and it was excellent on validity and applicability.
