Image Deformation Problems of Girth Welded Pipe by DR Flat Panel Imaging with Center Exposure Method

In order to reduce the DR flat panel radiographic image geometric distortion due to different parts of the amplification factor derived for different locations in the flat universal amplification factor calculation formula and its variation on the amplification factor was studied. The formula was verified by case studies and a new method to solve the image distortion was put forward.
