Comparison of the detection techniques for prefabricated and assembled bridge sleeves in standard DG/TJ 08-2160 and DB32/T 4986

    • The compactness of sleeve grouting is a key indicator of the construction quality of prefabricated assembled bridges, which directly affects the integrity and durability of the structure. This paper took the Shanghai local standard DG/TJ 08-2160—2021 Technical Standard for Prefabricated and Assembled Bridges and the Jiangsu Provincial local standard DB32/T 4986—2024 Technical Specification for the Design and Construction of Prefabricated Assembled Bridges as the research objects, and systematically compared the similarities and differences between the two standards in terms of the detection methods, technical parameters, sampling strategies and evaluation criteria for the compactness of sleeve grouting. Through analysis, it was found that the DB32 standard places more emphasis on the comprehensiveness of the detection methods and the control of details, while the DG/TJ 08 focused on the application of technological innovation and the improvement of detection efficiency. The complementarity between the two standards could provide a reference for the improvement of industry standards.
