    A digital radiographic testing system for girth welds of HRSG waste heat boiler module

    • The girth welds of the HRSG waste heat boiler module needs to be lifted by a crane and placed in a lead room, and then inspected by digital radiography (DR) technology. During detection, the appropriate detection position is obtained by adjusting the travel distance of the X-ray machine, the offset position of the flat plate and fixture. After passing the digital radiography imaging inspection, the waste heat boiler module can be removed from the lead room. Unqualified items can be repaired in the lead room, and after confirmation of qualification through further photography, the testing can be completed. This paper analyzed the digital radiography imaging detection system for girth welds circumferential seams of waste heat boiler modules, which was expected to promote the application of digital radiography detection technology in the power plant boiler industry.
