    Application effect analysis of eddy current array testing technology on stainless steel materials and welds

    • Eddy current array technology was applied to detect different types of artificial defects in different parts of austenitic stainless steel materials and welds. Through the analysis of test data, the detection ability of the technology under the condition of existing equipment system configuration and detection object was obtained. The test results showed that the eddy current array testing technology could effectively detect the subsurface defects with a depth of 3 mm for material and 1 mm for weld, as well as the surface opening defects with a depth of more than 0.5 mm.
