Abstract
The shielding design of the X-ray exposure chamber of 450 kV industrial flaw detection device was analyzed as an example, the calculation parameters in the 400-500 kV range of The Code for Radiation Shielding of Industrial X-ray Detection Chamber were supplemented, wide-beam X-ray through the attenuation curve of concrete layer in Radiation Protection of Medical External Sources was introduced, and the 500 kV X-ray thickness parameters of what-value layer and half-value layer in lead and concrete in Radiation Protection Manual, Volume 1 was introduced, the shielding thickness considering useful wiring harness shielding, leakage radiation shielding, scattering radiation shielding concrete wall and lead gate shielding was calculated under full load condition. Based on the above calculation, the shielding thickness statistics required in each direction was obtained. Considering the site construction conditions, the concrete thickness should be appropriately increased on this basis to meet the requirements of the site construction.
