Volcanic concrete strength testing based on ultrasonic rebound synthesis method

    • In order to solve the problem that there is alarge error in estimating the compressive strengh measurement curve of the ultrasonic rebound comprehensive method in the traditional standard, the difference of rebound value and ultrasonic wave velocity between volcanic stone concrete and limestone concrete was studied, and the strength measurement curve of Tengchong volcanic stone concrete with ultrasonic rebound synthesis method was further established and compared with the current strength measurement curve. The results showed that the ultrasonic wave propagation speed in volcanic concrete was lower than that of limestone concrete due to the existence of many holes in volcanic rock. As a result, there was a large error in estimating compressive strength of volcanic concrete based on the strength measurement curve of ultrasonic rebound comprehensive method. Based on the experimental data of volcanic stone concrete, the average relative error and relative standard deviation of the strength measurement curve of ultrasonic rebound comprehensive method established in this paper were 8.40% and 10.74%, respectively, which met the requirements of the specification, and the accuracy was about 2.5 times higher than the current industry standard and about 2 times higher than the local standard, which was more suitable for effusion of volcanic concrete.
