Abstract
To solve the problems during the inspection of strain champs with manual operation, such as high risk of falling, exposing to X-ray and low work efficiency, the method combing unmanned aerial vehicle and digital radiographic testing technology was proposed in this paper. The FPV (First Person View) flight technology to assist in testing process was proposed, achieving manual operation substitution and engineering application. The results showed that the detection of all strain champs of a tower can be finished within 15 minutes, achieving a dual improvement in safety and efficiency compared to manual operation.
