Abstract
Carbon fiber-phenolic composite material is an important material for high-temperature resistant components of solid rocket engine nozzles. This paper summarized the abnormal high-density images found in the radiographic testing of a certain product, summarized and classified the abnormal images from the image morphology and blackness distribution rules, and combined the characteristics of the product preparation process and radiographic testing methods to dissect and observe some physical objects. The causes of abnormal images such as the aggregation of carbon fibers/doping of U-Silica/mixing of stone were summarized. The methods and elements of image evaluation were summarized to provide reference for defect image recognition of similar products.
