    Quality detection of protective coating for power equipment based on lock-in infrared thermography

    • In order to solve the problem of protective oating on the external insulation surface of power transmission and transformation equipment, lock-in infrared thermography was used for testing. We independently developed a lock-in infrared thermography device LED as thermal excitation source ha the advantages of short start-up time, long service life, uniform heating. The experimental results showed that the phase-locked infrared thermal wave imaging system can detect the internal foreign matter and uneven protective coating, and the thickness of protective coating can be measured. It verified the reliability of lock-in infrared thermography technology for the quality inspection of protective coating, and provided a new method for the quality inspection of protective coating.
