Automatic phased array ultrasonic testing of titanium alloy forging billets

Abstract
Based on the phased array ultrasonic focusing principle, the automatic linear phased array ultrasonic detection method for titanium alloy forging billet is studied by combining simulation analysis, theoretical acoustic field mathematical model and sound field testing based on image interpolation. The results show that suitable parameters can be selected to accurately detect titanium alloy forging billet with the thickness of 2. 5-300 mm by combining theoretical sound field calculation model and sound field testing.
