    Development trend and prospects of ultrasonic nondestructive inspection/monitoringtechnology in military applications

    • Ultrasonic nondestructive testing/monitoring technology has the advantages of high speed, high efficiency, low detection cost, passive perception under extreme conditions, and wireless transmission to obtain physical quantities. It is widely used in aerospace, petrochemical, machinery and other fields, especially in the military field, for which its application shall have great potential. This paper focuses on the layout and research progress of ultrasonic nondestructive inspection/monitoring technology in several developed countries, and discusses and forecasts the development trend of nondestructive inspection/monitoring technology in combination with military application prospects.
