Design and verification of eddy current testing reference block for lead sealing of high voltage cable

Eddy current testing reference block is an important basis for defect determination in field eddy current testing of seal lead in power cable joint. In this paper, according to the lead seal structure and defect form of high-voltage cable joint, the lead seal eddy current test reference block is designed and manufactured, and the working conditions and production process of the field are simulated. The signal of the defect is adjusted, analyzed and verified, which provides data support for the quality evaluation of the defects in the eddy current testing of power cable in the field.
