    Application of infrared thermal wave detection technology in the protection of cultural relics

    • The basic principles of infrared thermal wave nondestructive testing technology and related image processing algorithms are introduced. For the current qualitative or quantitative problems encountered in the detection of cultural relics, typical cases that have been successfully solved by using infrared thermal wave nondestructive testing technology are given, which fully demonstrates that infrared thermal wave nondestructive testing technology can be applied to the detection of cultural relics of various materials and complex structures. The technology can realize safe, fast, non-contact and in-situ detection of the cultural relics and can acquire their internal disease information, thus providing a new nondestructive testing and evaluation method for cultural relics protection and restoration.
