    Testing of compressive strength of grouting materials by surface hardness method

    • The compressive strength of the grouting material in the sleeve is one of the key factors affecting the joint performance. It is difficult to messure the parameters accurately on site. This paper analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of existing detection methods, described the unique advantages of surface hardness method and its need of engineering verification, and according to the established strength curve, the application of practical engineering is verified. The results in the samples show that the relative error between the test results by surface hardness method and the specimens under the same conditions is small, ranging from 7.74% to 10.79%. At the same time, the main steps of the field operation of the method are extracted from the application process, which can be used as a reference for engineering inspection personnel.
