    Uncertainty determination for dimensional measurements with industrialcomputed tomography

    • This paper presents a method to determine the uncertainty of dimensional measurements with industrial computed tomography (CT) based on experimental evaluation method. Subsequently, some of the uncertainty budget and the expanded uncertainty are quantified based on a series of measurements. The uncertainty in measurement is within the sub-pixel region for all measures. The systematic bias is the main contributor for all measurement results. The results show that the proposed method can be a suitable approach for CT measurement uncertainty assessment in practical applications.
