X-ray detection of the ablation defect of water blocking buffer layer in high-voltage cable

A 110 kV cable line was inspected by means of X-ray detection technology, and the ablative defects of water blocking buffer layer were effectively detected in the cable body of the line. Meanwhile, the cause of such defects being initiated was analyzed, and suggestions for improvement were put forward.
