Geological radar characteristic echoes of typical diseases on municipal road

    • Ground penetrating radar (GPR) is one of the most important methods for municipal highway detection. Typical highway disease models, such as interlayer void, incomplete material, reverse crack, base honeycomb, local water-rich, freeze-thaw and so on, were made and buried in corresponding positions to pave the test road. The characteristic atlas of various diseases were obtained by GPR test. According to the theory of electromagnetic wave propagation, the detailed differences of radar signals for typical diseases of municipal roads were analyzed accurately. It improves the efficiency and accuracy for the analysis and identification of the map of municipal road detection in the later period of GPR method.
