Development of lock-in infrared automatic detection system forcarbon fiber honeycomb structure

    • Carbon fiber honeycomb structure is widely used in aerospace field. It is necessary to ensure the safety of carbon fiber honeycomb structure in service. To improve the detection efficiency of carbon fiber honeycomb material, a phase-locked infrared automatic detection system was designed and developed. The system adopts phase-locked infrared nondestructive detection technology, is equipped with uncooled infrared thermal imager, and its thermal excitation source is LED array. In column mode, the LED can be loaded uniformly with high energy and work continuously for a long time. The system can detect the carbon fiber honeycomb material automatically with a positioning accuracy of 0.1 mm and a single detection area of 300 mm×400 mm. By using 14×7=98 sub-projects, it can support the detection of 3 500 mm×2 500 mm large-scale substrates, and achieves seamless integration of 98 images of detection images to improve detection efficiency.
