Detecting test of orthogonal eddy current probe for stainless steel welds

For the common workpiece morphology of welds,eddy current test method can be carried out without removing the coating or the corrosion-resistant layer. However, the technical application of the weld eddy current test is less, especially in the detection of special equipment. The paper takes 304 stainless steel welds as an object and conducts experiments by using self-made orthogonal detection probes for weld to study its characteristics for peer communication.
