    Improved Test Method for Surface Crack of TBC of Engine Turbine Blade

    • There are limitations and custom's complaint on the excessive fluorescent background under U.V. light during testing and faint green-yellow background under white light after testing. The paper introduced the detection of the coating of the blade by filtration particle penetration detection method, and then compared and analyzed results between filtered particle testing and FPI. The practicability of the new testing method was verified and it was applied to the testing of TBC for engine turbine blade.
