    Eddy Current Testing in Defect Detection of Main Rotor Hub Axle Journal of a Shipborne Helicopter

    • Aiming at the failure characteristics of the main hub of a certain type of shipborne helicopter, the eddy current testing method was put forward. In this paper, the key parameters of the eddy current sensor were designed and optimized, and the eddy current sensor was manufactured. The test proved that the flaw detection effect was good. This method can effectively solve the problem of low sensitivity of damage detection of helicopter main propeller hub journal, and improves flight safety and reliability.
